On Sunday, May 20th, we are privileged to welcome to Campbell, The Rev. Beverly Sherrill Bullock. Rev. Bullock resides in Matoaca and is a native of Paterson, NJ. She is a graduate of Hampton University and taught high school science in Pittsburgh from 1975-81. She received a Masters of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 1984. Rev. Bullock’s ministries have encompassed parish ministry, interim ministry, campus ministry, hospital and hospice chaplaincy, Presbytery-Synod-general Assembly involvements, ecumenical, interfaith and multi-cultural dialogues, as well as pastoral care in the midst of child and elder abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, clergy sexual misconduct and HIV/AIDS concerns.
Rev. Bullock, a minister of the Presbytery of the James, has served as moderator of the POJ, moderator of the former Southern Virginia Presbytery and vice-moderator of the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic.
Rev. Bullock is married to the Rev. Sylvester H. Bullock. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.
