Music at Campbell

As Christians, we have been blessed with a rich history of music in our worship services: from the gorgeous monophonic Gregorian chants to the sublime polyphonic cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach, music has, throughout the ages, expressed our deep and abiding love for our Creator.

At Campbell, while we are fiduciaries of that beautiful musical tradition, we are also called to nurture future generations of Christian musical expression.

Whether it is the spiritual music of the Iona Community of Scotland, the Taize Community of France, or the inspiring music of our Christian contemporary artists, we understand and respect the vital role all Christian music plays in our worship services.

Even though we are a small community, Campbell Presbyterian is extremely fortunate to have a plethora of talented musicians in our midst.

This allows us to offer a variety of musical opportunities for members of our congregation and our community to participate: the chancel choir, the Good News ensemble, the Campbell summer singers, Christmas caroling, community sing-a-longs, creative hymn singing and many other activities…just to name a few.

So, if you have ever dreamed of sharing your musical talent with others, please join us! We would love for you to participate in our music ministry here at Campbell.
